Perked is way better.
They're all shiny stainless steel, not brushed. I have found that, 5 Level Coffee Scoop, Scoops. Unfortunately it is not as well built now. Easy to clean, excellent coffee, and a perfect pot. So I unplug mine if heat is needed I just put my cup in the microwave. He said his was not perking but making hot water. I'm added to a list of unsatisfied buyers, Hamilton Beach.

Good product.
I also bought the Melitta percolator coffee filters. Easy to use, to clean and I like watching the coffee perk up in the top. Then is perks all over again and the coffee gets really hot. I straightened it, and now the coffee is being perked. The Cuisinart at the first house is my favorite and still works great. The percolator also stays on until you unplug it. And this IS real stainless steel, not plastic.
