It performs faultlessly.
I can't help but laugh at myself really. We love that there is not any glass to break. We have gone through a few of these Cuisinart Percolators. The only thing I would change is the length of the cord. - NO aluminum parts touching the coffee to ruin the taste! So I unplug mine if heat is needed I just put my cup in the microwave. I can't help but laugh at myself really.

I love my new percolator!
We will never go back to the old coffee maker version! I called the 800-number in the instruc manual and they are sending me a new one. It is fast also, faster than I thought would be. My only gripe so far is the plastic smell during the first few brews. Not just flushing water over them once. I prefer the brushed stainless look of this pot better. The temp is hotter than my cuisinart drip coffee maker which I love.
