So I'm sending it back and going back to the Presto. However, this is easily mitigated by use of a paper filter disk or wrap filter. Great tasting coffee without an ounce of bitterness. Easy to clean, excellent coffee, and a perfect pot. THIS IS THE WAY CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD BE! To clean the stem and I use a small bottle brush to clean the nozzle. Shortly before the warrant ran out, it failed to brew.
